on the boat to the magic kingdom
We have had pretty great luck with taking the steam boats vs the monorail into the magic kingdom. With a child in a stroller, much better. Ok, so we took the boy to disney in pajamas. But they were micky pajamas. You try to convince a 2 yr old what is appropriate to wear to the park.

special strawberry pie
Last tuesday was krista's birthday. My wife krista not allrecipes krista. There were somewhat fresh local strawberries, so krista and the kids spent a good part of the evening making strawberry pie.

outside norway
The norway ride is pretty cool. I like it a little more than the mexico ride, but I hate the film at the end. The film is interesting enough the first time, but the real hassle is when you get off the ride and are stuck in the unloading area waiting for the film to end before leaving.
My family was dancing to some band that was playing. They seemed really happy that someone was paying attention to them.

main st usa
This was one of the first photos I took of the park upon entering, it was probably 10:30 or so, and everyone uses this area to regroup and wait for that one person in every party who needed to find the restroom.

maxi with chopstix
Maxi liked the fact the chef made lots of noise when he cooked. Especially when he did the chopping and peppering. Excessive banging is just fine with this boy. He did very well with his chop stix.

Good To Be Back
I love this rainy city. We had a great vacation. A day in the magic kingdom, a day at epcot, couple of days bumming around the double wide my dad lives in. No chance to drive my uncle's 911 this year.
It was good to leave a day between our return and work, as I needed to sleep most of yesterday. My whole family is still on east coast time. Everyone was sleeping at 7:30pm yesterday when I got home from server tending and groceries.
The servers were pretty good to me, waiting until I got back to actually have an error bad enough for someone to have to go there with tools and replacement parts. Easy fix, processor fan on cook032.
